Terms and Conditions

This ticket is issued on behalf of the organisation responsible for the performance or event (the “Event Promoter”) and is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. EVENT CHANGES
The Event Promoter reserves the right to amend, vary or make alternations to the published details of the event where reasonably necessary.

2. PLAYER PARTICIPATION
All players appear subject to availability and circumstances beyond the Event Promoter’s control.

3. ADMISSION AND CONDUCT
The Event Promoter and Venue Management reserve the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, unsafe or in breach of these Terms.

4. REFUNDS - GENERAL
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable except as expressly set out in these Terms or required by law. If the entire tournament is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

5. FOOD AND DRINK
Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in the venue.

6. SESSION COMPLETION
A scheduled final session shall be deemed completed where:

(a) Four (4) or more frames have been completed; or

(b) A minimum of ninety (90) minutes of play has elapsed from the commencement of the session,
whichever occurs first.

Where neither of the above thresholds is met, the session shall be treated as a curtailed session for the purposes of clause 7.

At the sole discretion of the Event Promoter, alternative entertainment may be provided where a session is curtailed or does not take place.

7. REFUNDS – SESSION DISRUPTION

7.1. If a scheduled session does not take place:

(a) Ticket holders shall be entitled to a full refund of the face value of that session ticket.

(b) No obligation arises to provide alternative entertainment.

For hospitality packages (including Century Club and 1875 Hospitality):

(c) Customers shall be entitled to a refund equivalent to the prevailing Premium Ticket price for that session

(d) Hospitality catering and facilities may still be made available and may include alternative entertainment at the Event Promoter’s discretion.

7.2. Curtailed Sessions

Where a session is curtailed such that it does not meet the completion thresholds in Clause 6:

(a) Ticket-only customers shall be entitled to a full refund for the ticket price in the event no alternative entertainment is provided. In the event alternative entertainment is provided, ticket-only customers shall not be entitled to any refund in respect of that session.

For hospitality packages (including Century Club and 1875 Hospitality):

(b) Customers shall be entitled to a refund of the ticket price excluding hospitality of the prevailing Premium Ticket price for that session in the event no alternative entertainment is provided. In the event alternative entertainment is provided customers shall not be entitled to any refund in respect of that session.

(c) The hospitality element of the package shall be deemed fulfilled where catering and facilities have been made available.

7.3. Alternative Entertainment

(a) The provision of alternative entertainment shall be at the sole discretion of the Event Promoter.

8. LATE ADMISSION
Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break in play at the discretion of Venue Management.

9. SEAT REALLOCATION
The Event Promoter reserves the right to reallocate seats where they are unoccupied five (5) minutes pror to the scheduled start time.

10. RE-ENTRY
Patrons may re-enter the venue at suitable breaks in play upon presentation of a valid ticket.

11. COMPLAINTS
Any complaints regarding viewing conditions must be raised during the Event.

12. LIABILITY
Neither the Event Promoter nor the Venue Management shall be responsible for loss or damage to personal property except where caused by negligence.

13. RECORDING EQUIPMENT
Unauthorised recording or transmission equipment is prohibited and may be confiscated.

14. TICKET RESALE
Tickets are non-transferable and not for resale without permission. Unauthorised resale may result in cancellation.

15. MEDIA CONSENT
By entering the venue, attendees consent to being filmed, recorded and photographed for use by the Event Promoter. If any person entering the Venue is under eighteen years of age, the parent, guardian or other adult accompanying that person at the Venue is deemed to give consent on their behalf unless the Event Promoter is notified to the contrary in writing.

16. DRESS CODE
Smart dress is requested. The Event Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry for inappropriate attire. The Event Promoter requests that no sportswear or team sport shirts are worn.

17. LIGHTING EFFECTS
Strobe or flashing lighting may be used.

18. SECURITY
Security personnel may use body-worn cameras in accordance with applicable laws.

PATRONS ARE ADVISED TO PURCHASE MERCHANDISE FROM THE OFFICIAL SALES POINTS.

  1. Every order is subject to a 10% transaction fee. (This transaction fee is non-refundable).
  2. Tickets can only be purchased by credit or debit cards. Cash buying is not permitted.
  3. Only tickets acquired via the Crucible, See Tickets or World Snooker directly are valid for entry.
  4. Tickets bought via unauthorised resellers is strictly prohibited and will be cancelled. These tickets will not be valid for entry and may not be refunded.
  5. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, however the Crucible Box Office will try to resell a ticket at a charge.*
    *All same priced seats must be sold out on a session before we can release returned tickets for re-sale.
  6. In the event of a tournament being cancelled in its entirety, tickets will be refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  7. All tickets will bear the surname of the lead booker. This person must provide photo ID that matches the booking detail to gain entry. If you are purchasing these tickets as a gift, please enter the surname of the recipient when prompted online, and that person must provide photo ID fitting the surname on the ticket. You will not be permitted in to the venue if the required ID does not match the ticket.
  8. Players appear circumstances permitting.
  9. The venue management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the venue management.
  10. A scheduled final session of a match will be deemed completed if four or more frames are played. At the sole discretion of the Event Promoter, alternative entertainment will be available:
    1. If the scheduled final session of a match is completed before four frames are played, or
    2. If the scheduled final session of the match does not take place
  11. Security searches of all bags will be carried out on arrival at the Crucible. Small handbags are permitted to be taken into the auditorium but patrons are asked not to bring suitcases or large holdalls to the Venue as we are not able to store them.
  12. Latecomers will only be admitted to the auditorium at a suitable break in the session and at the discretion of the management.
  13. The Event Promoter reserves the right to reallocate your seat if it is not occupied 5 minutes prior to the published start time of a session.
  14. Patrons are permitted to re-enter the Venue after exiting for any reason upon the production of a valid ticket at a suitable point in play.
  15. Any complaints about the ticket holder’s ability to view the event shall be made to the Event Promoter prior to or during the event.
  16. Neither the Event Promoter nor the Venue management shall be responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought into the venue, unless caused by the negligence of the Event Promoter or the Venue Management.
  17. The unauthorised use of mobile phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, video or any form of recording or digital transmission equipment is strictly prohibited and may be confiscated until the end of the session.
  18. By entering the venue all persons consent to being filmed, sound recorded and photographed while at the Venue. Some content to be used by the Event Promoter and its licensees, without restriction, in all media worldwide in perpetuity without payment, reward, compensation or acknowledgement being owed to the person(s) featured in the content. If any person entering the Venue is under eighteen years of age, the parent, guardian or other adult accompanying that person at the Venue is deemed to give consent on their behalf unless the Event Promoter is notified to the contrary in writing.
  19. Spectators are requested to dress smartly in the arena. The Event Promoter requests that no sportswear or team sport shirts are worn.
  20. Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed in the venue.
